Class Enrolment

 

Enrol in classes and activities by logging in to Member Wizard with your Member Number (or email address) and password, using the Member Login button at the top right of the page.  If you share an email address with another U3A Banyule member, you must log in with your Member Number.  Remember that you must have renewed your membership for 2026 before you can enrol. 

Please note: We cannot guarantee that you will immediately secure a place in your preferred class.  All classes have an enrolment limit, some classes are very popular and will maintain a waiting list of members wishing to enrol in it.  Indicate your interest in a particular class that may currently be full, places are offered to those on the Waitlist when vacancies arise.  

Updates on classes and Enrol and Pay Events are included in regular emails sent out to members and we encourage you to keep your email address in Member Wizard up to date for this purpose.

Criteria for Class Enrolment

  • Your membership fees must be paid before you can enrol in a class.
  • Do enrol in classes or excursions even if they are full, so that your name will appear on the waiting list. This will be an indicator of interest and, where possible, a duplicate class or excursion may be offered during the Semester or at a later time, subject to tutor availability. Members on the waiting list may be offered priority enrolment in a duplicate class or excursion prior to it being promoted more widely.

How to Enrol

1. Online Class Enrolment Using Member Wizard

  • Login to Member Wizard with your Member Number (or email address) and password, using the Member Login button at the top right of the page.  If you share an email address with another U3A Banyule member, you must log in with your Member Number.
  • If you have forgotten your PIN or password please click Reset Pin / Password and re-complete the Registration process.
  • Your home page will display a selection of options.  Choose Classes and Events.  When this page appears, you will see it lists Events first, scroll down to the next section where Classes are listed.  Classes can be filtered by category, day of the week or all.
  • For all classes where prior payment is not required (most of them), select the classes that you wish to attend,  and click on Save at the bottom of the page. If you have been accepted into the class, you will receive a confirmation by email.
  • After you have chosen all your classes and saved them, return to your home page and click on the My Classes button to see a list of your classes. 
  • To print a copy of your enrolments, select the Print option from the left-hand side of this page.
  • When you are finished, return to your home page for further options or to log out.
  • You will receive a confirmation email for each class that you are enrolled in.
  • Waitlisted members are accepted into a class in the order in which they enrolled. When a place becomes available, a confirmation email is sent to you. 
  • For excursions and events where prior payment is required, you must enrol and pay online with TryBooking. Member Wizard will display a link to TryBooking for you to do this (see Enrol and Pay Events for instructions and further information). 

Please note these Enrol and Pay events are not open for enrolment until approximately 2-6 weeks before the event.  Details in the Member Wizard class description will state when enrolments for the event will open and when they will close.

2. Class Enrolment Through the U3A Banyule Office

  • If you are unable to enrol online, you can complete and submit  the U3A Banyule Class Enrolment Form   by mail.  Make sure you include a stamped self-addressed envelope for return of your processed form –  see our contact details on the Contact  page.
  • If you are enrolling in any Enrol and Pay Events that require payment at the same time, include the relevant payment.
  • Forms will be processed in the order of receipt and will not be processed prior to enrolment day.
