Gale's Practice Page

Use the text on this page to familiarise yourself with the editing interface.  Make whatever changes and experiment as you like - this page is not publicly visible and cannot be accessed via the https://www.u3abanyule.org.au website, only by using the full URL https://www.u3abanyule.org.au/gale in your browser.

Banyule Constitution

When you have done some edits, 'Save' your work (button on top right), then click 'Publish Website' in the column to the left. After saving, the screen will return you to the Main Menu page for more editing.

To see how your page looks, go to https://www.u3abanyule.org.au/gale .  Don't forget to refresh the page each time so your latest edits override the previous version.

This is the usual protocol of   Edit > Save > Publish > Refresh

When looking at it in the console you will see 3 separate "sections" on the practice page, (I've used text copied from the website to provide content) : Latest News, Important Dates and Course Programs, but the page will appear seamless when opened in the browser, ie there is no separation between each of these other than the heading.

At this stage, please don't change any settings in the console or do any editing on other pages!!

  • Let's try out this
  • Experimenting with these.

Course Programs

Classes for SEMESTER 2, 2024, are now open for enrolment in MyU3A,  click HERE  to view the program.

U3A Banyule Members can enrol in courses and activities by connecting to MyU3A using the Member Login button at the top right of the screen and entering their Member ID and password, .  Non-members can see the current program of activities by clicking the link above.

The aim of our program is to offer a wide range of courses and activities to meet the educational, creative, leisure and social interests of our growing membership. Our program includes classes in humanities, sciences, languages and technology, plus physical activities, excursions and social opportunities. U3A Banyule, being a secular organisation, does not permit faith-based courses to be included in the program.

The planning and development of our program are undertaken by our Course Coordinator and a support team, with input from the Committee of Management.
